The Asian School of Hospitality Arts wishes to congratulate its beloved Dean for External Affairs Angelina U. Blanco for recently passing the Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) examinations by the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute of Florida, USA. The CHE workshop was held last December 2014 at the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong. Twenty participants were hoteliers and faculty of international hotel schools from Hong Kong, China, Thailand ,USA and the Philippines – where one of the three schools was ASHA, being represented by Blanco.

Its programs are all recognized by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH & LA) and conform to the best practices in the hotel and lodging industry. Blanco’s CHE program is the only professional development opportunity that is designed for post-secondary hospitality educators around the world. Her Hospitality Educator certification will only boost further ASHA’s application as an internationally accredited hotel school.
Angelina U. Blanco is ASHA’s Director of Career Development and Placement. As the hospitality management learning institution’s preparation for the forthcoming ASEAN Integration 2015, she has likewise taken the National Masters Trainer and Assessor certification of the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
