The Asian School of Hospitality Arts wishes to congratulate its beloved Dean for External Affairs Angelina U. Blanco for recently passing the Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) examinations by the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute of Florida, USA. The CHE  workshop was  held last  December 2014 at the  Polytechnic  University of  Hong Kong. Twenty participants were  hoteliers and  faculty  of  international hotel schools  from  Hong Kong,  China, Thailand ,USA  and the  Philippines – where one of the three schools was ASHA, being represented by Blanco.

AHLEI is the global leader in hospitality training and hotel management. Its programs are all recognized by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH & LA) and conform to the best practices in the hotel and lodging industry. Blanco’s CHE program is the only professional development opportunity that is designed for post-secondary hospitality educators around the world. Her Hospitality  Educator certification will only boost further ASHA’s  application as an internationally accredited hotel  school.

Angelina U. Blanco is ASHA’s Director of  Career  Development  and  Placement. As the hospitality management learning institution’s preparation for the forthcoming ASEAN Integration 2015, she has likewise taken the National  Masters  Trainer  and  Assessor certification of  the  Department of Tourism (DOT)  and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

Congrats, Dean Angie! You’re one global hospitality leader indeed! The entire ASHA family is truly proud of you!
